TESTIMONIALS

Taylor worked with my 9th-12th grade drama 1 students on playwriting. These are students who struggle with reading and writing and have, for the most part, never been exposed to studying or seeing live theatre, let alone writing original scripts that have conflict and tell stories. I am positive that my students would not have been as excited or produced the amount of awesome, quality work they did without her. - Stephanie Gillissen (High School Teacher)

Taylor Bradley is simply amazing with kids and teens. My son, Gannon, first worked with her when she directed him as a 9 year old in Fiddler on the Roof, Jr.  Her knowledge of her craft as well as her uncanny ability to relate to kids, resulted in not only an incredible production, but in my son’s love for musical theatre. She continues to coach him as a teen to prepare for auditions for Disney and Nickelodeon, and he has booked roles for both networks. Taylor is able to motivate and get him to put forth his best effort. She perfectly balances high expectations with encouragement and fun! We love her! - Kelli Hays (Parent)

We feel so lucky that our children (ages 8 & 10) have had the chance to work with Taylor over the past year! Their growth under her direction — both as people and as performing artists — has been incredible. Taylor has deep faith in kids to do BIG things in a high-quality, professional way; she teaches them how to do those things well, in a fun and engaging manner; and she supports their personal development and builds confidence throughout the process. As a result, the youth productions she has directed at High Street Arts Center (Beauty and the Beast, Jr. and Fiddler on the Roof, Jr.) were some of the best children’s theatre we have ever seen – and the kids had some of the most rewarding experiences of their lives! Our children have now started taking Taylor’s acting and playwriting classes, and they are thrilled to be learning more advanced techniques and skills, while still having a blast. We are looking forward to everything they will continue to do with Taylor and can’t wait for the next show! - Kristen & Ellis Godard (Parents)

Giving kids the gift of art and imagination is priceless. Taylor knows how to bring that spark out within them; our family is truly grateful! - Shawn Nelson (Parent)

Taylor Bradley is gifted at working with children in theater arts. She knows how to challenge each child, yet makes it fun--the kids don't even know they are working on stuff because they are having such a great time! I was lucky enough to have Taylor direct my kids in several productions, and she always knew how to bring out the best in each child and make them feel supported and capable of reaching their goals. The kids in these productions adored her, and for my kids in particular, she set them on a path to love and succeed in theater, a passion that has only gotten stronger over the years due to her superb teaching and directing. - Tracy Tennenhouse (Parent)
